I’m so excited to share with you the finalized itinerary and pricing for The Ancient World of Peter and Paul, attached.

I have been working very closely with our travel associates in Turkey (Sea Song Travel) and in Greece and Italy (Travelive) to put together a truly unique and customized tour. In keeping with my specialized tour vision, this tour will offer the personal touches my guests have come to rely on: the “people” experiences that touch the heart and warm the memory for many years to come. Explore all the details in the attached brochure.

If you are “Chosen” fans, you will be wondering “what’s next?” after Season 6, and Jesus’ death and resurrection. If you are reading along with the “Come Follow Me” program, our tour will prepare you to dive into the 2027 New Testament curriculum, as you learn about the lives and teachings of Peter and Paul and the spread of the “Good News” of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

When we contemplate the philosophy, entertainment, and religious beliefs of the Greek and Roman world, it is nothing short of miraculous that these two men — Peter, the Galilean fisherman, and Paul, the Pharisee — had such an impact on the known world. As was said by those who heard their preaching: “These have turned the world upside down” (Acts 17:6) — and indeed, they did.

As part of your tour package, I will be providing a series of zoom classes to help you become familiar with Peter and Paul and the Greco-Roman world of the first five centuries after Christ’s resurrection. We will discover the unique challenges that the Christian church faced, and rejoice in its miraculous growth.

Because of our classes, when we visit the catacombs beneath Rome, we’ll be familiar with the concerns of the first Christians as they hid there out of fear of persecution in the first centuries AD, and we will stand in awe and wonder at the magnificent churches built in the new Roman Christian capital of Constantinople (present-day Istanbul) during the 4th and 5th centuries AD.

Because I prefer intimate experiences with a small group where we can ask questions, discuss, and explore, I’ve elected to forego a cruise option, where dozens of people are in a group at each site. Besides allowing us to to maintain our own small circle, this decision gives us extra time to do a deep-dive into cities like Ephesus and Cappodocia, where we will spend two nights in each, meeting the people and having unforgettable experiences, like an elective hot-air balloon ride in Cappodocia, staying in luxurious hotel rooms built into caves, and basking in the Odean Theatre in Ephesus, where Paul preached. We won’t be rushed with the typical fast-paced, large-group tour experience.

We will take short flights from Istanbul to Athens, and from Athens to Rome to be as efficient as possible, and to be able to enjoy every moment on our itinerary. Those specific flights are included in the tour costs, while our international travel to Istanbul, and home to the U.S. from Rome, are not. (See specifics in the attached documents.)

Please note that the hotels we have reserved are all upscale, with outstanding amenities, and, even more importantly, located in the heart of it all, allowing easy access to key sites when you decide you’d like to explore on your own.

There has been a lot of interest in this tour, and we have already had a number of Pre-Sale Reservation requests, and deposits made. I urge you to contact me as soon as possible if you are interested in the tour. We expect the tour to reach its limit by September 15th so the sooner you get your space confirmed, the better.

Ric Rodman, of Stellar Travel, my valued mentor and partner in the tour industry, can best answer questions regarding deposits, charges, etc. You can reach Ric at ric@stellartravel.com. His office number is 425.586.4503.

I hope you will join me for this wonderful opportunity to explore and trace the spread of Christianity in the ancient world.

I’m looking forward to sharing this memorable experience with you..
