She truly listens to what your personal likes are and makes your home reflect you and your family unlike many designers who are trying only to make a statement and it comes across nice but doesn't speak about your own personality or style. Lynda was also very aware of my budget and never pushed me to spend beyond my means and also found great ways to get the best look for less. "Lynda does a fantastic job of designing the interior _you_ want. If you don’t know exactly what you want, she will help you figure that out as well and will make it all come together perfectly and look magnificent. We have complete confidence in Lynda and have used her for the last 3 of our homes. The most recent was the new construction of an 11,000+ sq ft brick Virginia Estate. She is so good, we hired her to work from Seattle and she traveled to the building site in Virginia throughout the entire process. We used Lynda for _all_ aspects of the interior design, from paint color selection to materials for stone and tile work, designing the pattern and layout of stone work throughout the house, picking lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, furniture fabric and style, window covering styles and fabrics, even the paintings on the wall.
Lynda is extremely easy to work with and she is especially good at working well with the entire family. She was very engaged with our children, helping them pick things they liked that look great and go with the style of our home. She has an amazing eye for color. She quickly learns what colors you like and then is able to quickly select a few patterns and colors for you to choose from out of the literally thousands of choices. She works with many different companies so has a broad selection to choose from.
Lynda is very conscientious and detail oriented. She works hard to not only provide you with a beautiful home, she does it in a very cost conscious way – advising you when something is worth the extra cost because of the quality and longevity and also recommending things that are more budget friendly when the extra cost doesn't make sense.
